Recycled rubber refers to waste vulcanized rubber and leftover materials of vulcanized products, which are transformed from elastic state to plastic, viscous and re vulcanizable rubber materials through physical and chemical processes such as crushing, processing and mechanical treatment. With the improvement of rubber properties, it is more and more difficult to recycle rubber products after scrapping. For example, the composition of waste tires is complex and contains a variety of rubber and heavy metals. At present, most industrial rubber products are difficult to decompose innocuously in a short time under natural conditions. At the same time, with the continuous growth of China's industrial demand, the supply and demand gap of domestic synthetic rubber is expanding, and a large number of rubber needs to be imported from overseas every year. Waste rubber is rich in components and has high recycling value, so it is an important renewable resource. Waste tire is the main object of recycling. Its components are mainly rubber, carbon black and metal. It has high recycling value and is also one of the main raw materials for the production of recycled rubber.
Over the years, China's waste rubber resource utilization industry has recycled a large number of waste rubber products, and created a high output value through treatment and reuse. The recovery and treatment methods of waste rubber mainly include prototype utilization, waste tire renovation, production of recycled rubber, production of vulcanized rubber powder, thermal decomposition and thermal energy utilization. The purpose of rubber regeneration is to convert polysulfide in rubber into disulfide through physical and chemical means, and then disulfide into disulfide, and then cut off the sulfur bond of disulfide. It reacts under the comprehensive action of heat, oxygen, mechanical force and chemical regenerant, so as to restore the plasticity of waste vulcanized rubber to a certain extent and achieve the purpose of regeneration. Compared with other recycling methods, the advantage of recycled rubber lies in its good performance, easy modification and the production of some ordinary rubber products. Adding some recycled rubber into natural rubber can effectively improve the extrusion and calendering process properties of rubber mixture.
Reasonable recycling of waste rubber and improving the recycling rate can not only effectively solve the environmental pollution caused by waste rubber, but also effectively make up for the shortage of natural rubber and oil resources in China, and promote the sustainable development of rubber industry, which has important strategic significance. However, at this stage, the recovery efficiency of domestic waste rubber resources is low, resulting in a serious shortage of raw materials faced by the rubber recycling industry. According to the data of the Ministry of Commerce, at present, the recovery of domestic waste tires remains above 6.5 million tons. However, the annual production of waste tires is 15 million tons, and the recovery rate is less than 50%, resulting in the shortage of tire sources faced by relevant enterprises.
According to the relevant investigation, the products produced by the enterprise include three categories: Tire recycled rubber (made of waste tire as the main material), butyl recycled rubber (made of waste butyl rubber as the main raw material) and EPDM recycled rubber (made of waste EPDM as the main raw material). Among them, enterprises producing tire recycled rubber accounted for 76%. At present, the booming automobile industry and aerospace industry in China are the main driving force driving the renewable rubber market. The rising price of natural rubber has forced carmakers to turn to products with lower processing costs, recyclable products or rubber blends. The demand for recycled rubber in the tire industry has promoted the development of the industry to a great extent.
